Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 14, 2026

One Up Daily ("we", "us", "the service") is an automated content-publishing system that creates short-form educational lifestyle videos and posts and publishes them to our own social media accounts on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and Bluesky. This policy explains exactly what data the service accesses, why, how we store it, and how it can be deleted.

Who this service is for

One Up Daily connects only to social media accounts that we own and operate (the "One Up Daily" brand accounts). It is not a product offered to other users, and it does not access, collect, or process data belonging to any third party or to viewers of our content.

Data we access through platform APIs

When we connect one of our own accounts to the service via a platform's official OAuth flow, the service is granted access to the following data for that account only. We use it solely to publish our content and to read performance metrics about our own posts.

TikTok

Data / permissionWhy we use it
Basic profile (open ID, display name, avatar) — user.info.basicConfirm which account is connected and display it in the publishing interface.
Profile details (username, profile link) — user.info.profileShow the creator's username/avatar on each post, as required by TikTok.
Account statistics (follower count, likes) — user.info.statsAggregate performance reporting for our own account.
List of our own videos — video.listTrack the status and metrics of videos we have published.
Upload & publish videos — video.upload / video.publishDeliver our daily video to our own TikTok account (as an inbox draft we approve, or as a direct post).

Instagram

Via the Instagram API with Instagram Login, we access our own account's basic profile and media (instagram_business_basic), publish posts and reels (instagram_business_content_publish), manage comments on our own posts (instagram_business_manage_comments), and read insights about our own content (instagram_business_manage_insights).

YouTube, X, and Bluesky

We use each platform's official API to upload/publish our own content to our own channel and to read aggregate statistics about that content (for example, view and engagement counts). We do not access other users' private data.

Website visitors

This website uses no cookies, trackers, or analytics. Our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) for security and operations, retained for up to 30 days, then deleted.

How we store and protect data

Access tokens and the data above are stored on infrastructure we control, with access restricted to the operator of the service. Tokens are kept only as long as an account stays connected, and are transmitted only over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We never sell, rent, or share this data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

Data retention

Aggregate post metrics are retained only for as long as needed to evaluate our own content performance. Access tokens are deleted when an account is disconnected or when we receive a deletion request. Server logs are deleted within 30 days.

How to revoke access and delete data

Because the service connects only to our own accounts, the people who can request deletion are the operators of those accounts. To revoke access and delete stored data:

What we don't do

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification, and erasure. Since we hold essentially no personal data about content viewers, most requests are best directed at the social platform where an interaction occurred — but you can always contact us.
